21 Life Lessons Learned By Age 21

Here is a list of 21 life lessons I have learned by the age of 21.

1.) Love does not have anything to do with looks at all.

2.) Bad things will happen to everyone. But our reactions towards it are completely our choice.

3.) Forgiving someone is hard let alone forgiving yourself.

4.) Actions speak louder than words.

5.) Forgive and forget. Don't harbor grudges. Hatred is like poison; it slowly eats you away.

6.) Just do it. If you don't act now you never will.

7.) There really are some things that are not meant to be said.

8.) Take pictures. One day you'll look back and you'd be real glad you took them.

9.) You can't judge a book by its cover. The same goes for people.

10.) Laughing, crying, being angry... doesn't make you a weak person. Its what makes you human.

11.) Be nice to everyone you meet and befriend with them even. You never know which ones would pay off.

12.) You can not truly love another unless you have truly love yourself.

13.) The sky is the limit. If you can dream it, you can manifest it in your life.

14.) Sometimes, the truths are even harder to absorb than lies.

15.) Its not what people think that's important but what you want and your personal glory.

16.) Ignoring the obvious just postpones the inevitable and could cause more if you don't act upon it as quickly as you can.

17.) Your friends reflect a lot about you.

18.) Happiness is a state of mind not a destination.

19.) Money is important in life but along with other material things you should not let it control you.

20.) Life is too short and can be unfair. The world will keep on spinning no matter what happens. So if its not working, just move on.

21.) Letting go does not mean you're weak or don't care anymore. Everyone has a breaking point. You simply reached yours and realized far greater more important things in life.
