Loving you from afar... 

I've been loving you far and wide 

Here in my heart 

I wish you're the angel god gave me as my guide. 

Everyday I keep whispering to the winds 

That in your heart you find 

That kind of love from my heart 

The world wants me to hide. 

When I wake up in the morning 

And spread my wings through the day 

I go home in the evening 

And think of you from far away. 

I've been in this place before 

But I still don't know what to do 

For the last time I opened this door 

My heart and soul bid me adieu. 

I try to block you from my mind 

And get rid of you of my heart 

But I'm trapped in this spellbind 

And I couldn't tear it apart 

Maybe because I want myself to believe 

That this time I got it right 

Your love is the drug I want to relive 

Once again to help me get through my lonely nights. 

I remember you always carried a rosary 

And then on I admired you even more 

I thought you had some kind of a worry 

I wished that wouldn't bother you anymore. 

Since this last time I met you 

I've worn a cross around my neck. 

It reminds me of your name, your face 

And most of all it keeps me happy when I feel blue. 

Do you remember the time when you played the guitar? 

And by your side I sung? 

Its a song that made me feel like a shining star 

I memorize it from my mother tongue. 

I wrote this poem in hopes it would find you 

Or that somehow you stumble upon it 

As I have been loving you so so true 

That even from afar I will honestly admit.
