"Somehow, things never turn out the the way you want them to but they always turn out much better than you thought they would ever be in the first place."
... Like this year's Christmas! And the consequent months prior this month. As a Catholic it is central to my beliefs the day Jesus Christ our Savior was born. His Resurrection on Easter reveal to us that even death can be conquered through the power of belief, love and hope. Henceforth, the day he took human form and made the holy word transform into flesh is a very important day for me and my family. Thank you Lord for all the blessings and the ultimate sacrifice of your life to save us.
In 5 days we will be approaching a new year. As I was growing up I realized that I am most in my thankful attitude only on special occasions. Having gone through a lot of changes, blessings and experiences this year, I would only have one resolution in year 2013. It is to be thankful for each day I am alive and given.
As I say goodbye to the year of 2012, I am thankful for all the things that happened to me. I learned a lot. Some lessons I learned the hard way. Some I kept coming back into. But for every difficult situation I was put in, I was given a blessing in return. A good karma.
I look forward to the coming New Year. Happy Birthday to our Savior Jesus Christ! I foresee many challenges coming my way in the New Year but I know with your guidance and trusting in your love I will make the right decisions. Please grant me the strength to persevere.
